SEVEN Defends Innovation

- PR Newswire

Redwood City, Calif. (September 24, 2003) - In a Visto Corporation press release dated September 23, 2003, SEVEN Networks, Inc. was accused of patent infringement. SEVEN has never been contacted or served by Visto regarding this matter.

SEVEN can only infer from the lack of communication that this action is part of a campaign by Visto to unjustly claim proprietary rights to real innovation and open standards. SEVEN hopes that the wireless community will follow our lead, focus on creating products to benefit customers and not engage in frivolous litigation.

SEVEN stands by the novelty of patent-pending technology, and we will continue to focus our efforts on true innovation.
