This latest enhancement gives Sprint customers the convenience of accessing real-time corporate and personal email and contacts via a feature-rich Java client.
Sprint PCS Business Connection - personal or enterprise edition - can now be added to any wireless voice plan on select Java-enabled Multimedia devices from Sprint, including the Sprint PCS Vision Multimedia Phone MM-5600, the MM-7400 and MM-8300 by Sanyo. Sprint PCS Business Connection continues to be available on Sprint PCS Smart Devices, including the Sprint PCS Vision Smart Device Treo 650 by palmOne and the Sprint PCS Vision Smart Device PPC-6600.

Wireless data revenue grew 14 percent for Sprint in the first quarter 2005 and represented approximately 10 percent of customer service revenue. Sprint Business Connection utilizes end-to-end 128-bit AES encryption to ensure corporate data is secure and leverage's a real-time architecture to ensure corporate data is never replicated to third-party servers outside the firewall.
